Remarkable Moments Day

On Friday Brisbane Catholic Education celebrated Remarkable Moments Day. The focus of the day is to celebrate the remarkable learners in our school. This is, of course, every member of our community as we are all life-long learners. You may have noticed the posters displayed around the school where students were asked to identify their greatest learning achievement for the year. If you have been able to take the time to read through them you will notice that the successes are from a wide variety of areas. Some of the responses I read included:
  • Speaking more confidently to my peers
  • Trusting my instincts more instead of relying on the teacher
  • Improved focus
  • Improvements in reading
  • Being good at vertical addition
  • Playing guitar
  • My maths skill in all areas
  • Being chosen for a special art project because I am doing so well
  • My work in the STEM competition this year
I am so proud of all of our remarkable learners and it is so great to see students identifying their strengths and growth areas. Our keys to success: getting along, confidence, persistence, organisation and resilience all help to grow our learning in remarkable ways. We are so very proud of each and every remarkable learner at our school.
